A series of games are slated for Saturday morning to open the ISC World Tournament in Kitchener. Free admission will be available until 12:00 PM.

The host committee is pleased and honoured to welcome a series of local games to spotlight the women’s, youth, and legends of the game in our community.

Starting Saturday morning, the Laurier Golden Hawks will take on Conestoga Condors. Laurier, a University club out of Waterloo, recognized as one of the top programs in the country, has captured three Provincial silver medals over the last four years and were crowned National Champions on these very fields at Peter Hallman Ball Yard in 2009. The Condors are a mainstay of the OCAA and will be host to the College Provincial Championship this fall.

Also at 9AM will feature Shallow Lake vs. Twin Centre on diamond 3 in a U16 matchup. Shallow Lake is coming off a competitive week at the U16 Canadian Championships.

At 11AM – some fan favourites in the game will take on the Waterloo Regional Police – a must see game before the first pitch is thrown of the official tournament at 2PM.
